Shipping Policy

Our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most economical way possible. We review each order individually, factoring in destination, weight and size of items. Shipping charges calculated on the sales web site are an estimate only. Delivery methods may be altered after our review if consolidating items in your order will provide better shipping rates and transit times.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs will depend on the shipping option that you choose and the weight and dimensions of the item(s) you have purchased. If you purchase multiple items they will be shipped together.

Occasionally, items ordered cannot ship by the shipping method selected at the time the order was placed. If this situation occurs, you will be contacted and provided with an alternate shipping method. With your approval, the order will be shipped using the alternate shipping method.

PLEASE NOTE: If the shipping weight of your order exceeds the allowed UPS Ground shipping standards, we will contact you prior to shipping your order to arrange special shipping.

Address Accuracy

Please double check your address for accuracy when ordering. Addresses entered incorrectly can delay or prevent a shipment.

To ensure accuracy:

a. Enter complete address including: Suite #, Apt. #, Rm. #, Mail Stop #, Department Name, and Company Name.

b. Commercial buildings: (Include information about) Loading dock, inside delivery, lift gate requirements and delivery hours.

c. Undeliverable packages: When the carrier returns undeliverable packages to us we issue a full refund excluding shipping charges. Please allow 30 days for charge to be returned to your credit card account. These undeliverable packages will not be reshipped. A new order must be placed for the returned item(s).

Shipping Restrictions

Prepare Northwest ships to most addresses in the domestic United States. Unfortunately we cannot ship to P.O. boxes or Commercial mail boxes such as Mail Boxes Etc®. Please provide an actual street address.

Delivery Time

When you place an order with Prepare Northwest we will do our best to process your order and get it out the door with in 48 hours. Once your package has been picked-up by the carrier you will receive a shipping notification via email. Use the tracking number provided to check the status of your delivery.

Any order containing: a large number of kits, custom made to order kits, imprinted items, or large trucking orders requiring multiple pallets, may add to the processing/ship time.

If you require items by a specific date please advise us when placing the order. Every effort will be made to meet reasonable deadlines.

Shipment Accuracy

When your delivery is received, it is your responsibility to note the condition of your shipment and record the piece count at the time of delivery. Any damages or shortages must be reported to Prepare Northwest within 10 business days of receipt. Any discrepancies after that time frame may be considered void.

Return Policy

Prepare Northwest stands behind the quality of our products and if you are not satisfied with your purchase we want to make things right. Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase simply follow the instructions below.

Returns and Exchanges

Refunds

To return an item purchased from Prepare Northwest please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 30 days of purchase. Once your return is received by Prepare Northwest, a refund or credit for the full purchase price (plus tax, excluding outbound shipping cost) will be issued to the credit card used to purchase the item(s) you are returning. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to Prepare Northwest unless the return is a result of our error or defective. We will notify you via E-mail of your refund. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Return Guidlines

You may return new, unused item(s) purchased from Prepare Northwest in the last 30 days. Item(s) must be returned in the original packaging.

Non Returnable Items

Generators, Packaged Food, Packaged Water, Water Preserver, Water Barrels, Water Filters, Water Purification Tablets, Emergency Kits, First Aid Kits, Batteries, Medicinals and any Dated Item(s). Custom and special orders are not returnable

Restocking Fee

A 25 % restocking fee may apply to item(s) not returned in original packaging. Packaging must contain all contents, accessories, packaging materials, and manuals.

All Returns Must be Authorized

a. To receive authorization for a return you must contact customer service at 206.890.1104. The Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) will be given to you.

b. Include a copy of your invoice showing your purchase with the RMA # and reason for the return written on it.

c. Return the item(s) via UPS.

d. If you are returning merchandise shipped via trucking company, please call for special instructions.

Exchanges

Our return center cannot process exchanges. If you've found another item on our website you would prefer, please place a separate order for the new item and return the unwanted one under the terms of our Return Policy.
